Aims to improve the performance and effectiveness of organisations by providing an independent and impartial service to prevent and resolve disputes and to build harmonious relationships at work.

Trust set up to campaign for effective industrial legislation to protect employees from this persistent and widespread abuse of power in the workplace.

British Safety Council (BSC)
Europe's largest independent occupational health and safety organisation. Campaigns for higher safety standards at work and provides training, risk management, auditing, advisory and assessment programmes and publications.

Carers UK
Carers UK is the voice of carers and the leading campaigning, policy and information organisation for carers.

Commission for Racial Equality
The Commission for Racial Equality works in partnership with individuals and organisations for a fair and just society which values diversity and gives everyone an equal chance to work, learn and live free from discrimination, prejudice and racism.

Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)
Regulates on aspects of employment law and trade union affairs. DTI is responsible for Employment Tribunals and the Low Pay Commission.

Disability Rights Commision
The Disability Rights Commission (DRC) is an independent body set up by the Government to help secure civil rights for disabled people.

Health and Safety Executive (HSE)
The website of the regulatory body for health and safety. Lots of useful pages on specific hazards and industries.

The Pensions Advisory Service
An independent organisation that gives advice and information on occupational and personal pensions.

TUC
The TUC is the voice of Britain at work with more than 70 member unions representing nearly seven million working people from all walks of life. This site contains information about the latest TUC campaigns, press releases, policy briefings as well as advice papers on your rights at work.

United Kingdom Parliament
Information about the UK Parliament, the House of commons and the House of Lords.
